About Thawani

In March 2018, Thawani has launched its first product “Thawani Application”; complying to local and international security standards. The company has been granted the first license to non-banking financial entities (Fintech companies) from the Central Bank of Oman in 2020, as well as it has obtained PCI-DSS Certification which ensures the security of bank cards data.

Since 2016, Thawani is carrying on in providing e-payment solutions innovatively aiming to facilitate payment transactions and enhance users’ experience and make it faster and more secure. This has been carried out through providing several services such as direct payment to merchants, bill payments, toping up and paying students’ fees and PASI. Thawani has not only focused on the basic payment systems, but also introduced new smart payment solutions tailored according to the different enterprises’ needs. Thawani has taken on this burden to help the enterprises enhance their experience in receiving and monitoring payments.
