Thawani announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Yango Ride, part of the global technology company Yango Group, aimed at offering exclusive benefits and practical savings opportunities for female partner drivers within the "She Drives" initiative. This step reflects both parties' commitment to supporting and economically empowering women through value-added digital solutions in their daily lives.

Under this partnership, female partner drivers at Yango Ride will gain access to Thawani’s "Sama" platform. This allows them to benefit from exclusive discounts and special offers across a wide network of participating brands and establishments via the Thawani app, helping them manage their daily expenses more efficiently and enjoy perks that go beyond their ride earnings.

This partnership embodies a shared vision between Thawani and Yango Ride to build a more supportive ecosystem for working women by providing practical solutions and benefits that enhance financial well-being and open doors to more sustainable opportunities in the transport and mobility sector. This initiative also aligns with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, particularly regarding enhancing women's participation in the labor market, supporting their financial independence, and broadening their contributions to vital economic sectors.

Eng. Majid Al Amri, Founder and CEO of Thawani, said: "At Thawani, we believe that digital solutions must offer real and tangible value in everyday life. Our partnership with Yango Ride reflects our shared commitment to empowering women through practical benefits that support their financial well-being and daily needs. Through the Sama platform, we are proud to offer exclusive benefits and meaningful savings opportunities to female partner drivers, contributing to building a more inclusive and supportive ecosystem in line with the national directives of Oman Vision 2040."

Through platforms like Sama, we aim to empower entities and organizations to offer relevant benefits and exclusive discounts that help increase beneficiary engagement and satisfaction, strengthening their long-term connection to their respective work ecosystems."

On her part, Shaikha Ambowali, General Manager of Yango Oman, stated: "Through the 'She Drives' initiative, Yango Ride is working to create more empowering pathways for women to contribute to social and economic progress. Our partnership with Thawani is an extension of this approach, providing daily benefits with a tangible impact that supports the financial well-being of our drivers. Access to savings opportunities on regular expenses can make a real difference in the long run, which is one of the aspects we continue to invest in to offer a more supportive, inclusive, and sustainable experience for women on our platform."
